This working paper provides a bottom-up estimate of energy use and Green-House Gas (GHG CO2 emissions per capita reached 9,389 kg in 2017 in Germany, according to World Bank / EIA. This is 0.178 % more than in the previous year. Historically, CO2 emissions per capita in Germany reached an all time high of 14,026 kg in 1979 and an all time low of 9,028 kg in 2009
